Knickerbocker rolled back the years and went behind the scenes for an in-depth look at the factories and individuals who turned paper into information for the world to digest. Working through the night to the small hours of the morning, the printing press operators, the warehouse workers and the delivery truck drivers had literally delivered the world its news, often doing so in great style.
The collection intertwines iconic silhouettes and textiles along with many elements we found in the vast illustration and photography archives of The New York Times. Now available on knickerbocker.nyc and at the Knickerbocker Flagship located at 357 Canal St. in New York City, Monday October 24 at 11am EST.
Photographed by Emma Trim.
