Knickerbocker’s Fall & Winter campaign takes you on a trip outside of the city for a look into a bygone era that the brand has always turned to for inspiration.

The campaign takes place at a motel in Greenport, New York. Motels, or motor hotels, became popular in the 1920’s with the rise of automobile and the highway. As cars and highways expanded so did culture. Motels reached peak popularity in the 1950’s as many became large attractions emblazoned with neon signs to attract roadtripping tired eyes. Highways and motels took you somewhere new and the souvenir you brought home was that of new perspective.
